Terms of service

Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing this site, creating an account, requesting information, or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You must be at least 21 years old and legally permitted to access and purchase the materials shown in your jurisdiction.

Website information

Site content, product descriptions, analytical records, and support communications are technical and commercial information for qualified researchers. They are not medical advice, clinical instructions, dosing guidance, or authorization for use in or on any person or animal. You are responsible for evaluating whether a material, method, facility, and destination are lawful and suitable for your intended research.

Orders, pricing, and payment

Product listings are invitations to submit an order, not offers that KCC Labs must accept. An automated acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance. KCC Labs may verify identity, age, credentials, intended use, payment authorization, billing or shipping information, and destination eligibility before accepting an order. We may reject, limit, or cancel an order for compliance, safety, fraud, inventory, pricing, payment, or documentation reasons. If payment was captured for an order we do not accept, it will be returned to the original payment method.

Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and may change before order acceptance. The purchaser is responsible for applicable taxes, shipping, and other charges disclosed before payment. When Zelle or Cash App is offered, the order remains unpaid and cannot enter fulfillment until KCC Labs matches the exact cleared amount to the order in its enrolled business account. A screenshot, email, receipt image, pending transfer, or customer payment claim is not proof of cleared payment. KCC Labs does not ask customers to send a PIN, password, verification code, or account credential. Payment-provider availability is subject to the provider's current approval, terms, limits, and acceptable-use rules.

When PayPal is displayed at checkout, the payment choices it offers, including guest card payment or Pay Later, depend on PayPal's eligibility, approval and terms. They are not available to every buyer. Any financing agreement and repayment obligations are between you and the provider under the terms shown in its payment window. KCC Labs does not decide credit eligibility.

Approving a PayPal payment does not by itself confirm that funds were received or that an order was accepted. We verify the receiving merchant, order reference, currency and exact amount before recording payment. Pending or uncertain payments and orders requiring review are held from fulfillment. If confirmation is interrupted, check the existing order or contact orders@kcclabs.net before attempting another payment. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method; processing time depends on the provider. These terms do not restrict any mandatory refund or good-faith dispute right.

Full payment-card details and security codes for PayPal checkout are entered directly in PayPal's payment window and are not collected by KCC Labs' checkout form. Never send us your payment password or security code.

Discount and affiliate codes may be limited, changed, paused, or withdrawn at any time before an order is accepted. Codes have no cash value, may not be combined unless expressly stated, and may be rejected for misuse, fraud, expiration, eligibility limits, or minimum-purchase requirements. Affiliate attribution does not change the purchaser's price unless a separate valid discount is disclosed at checkout.

Order communications

We may send transactional emails about your order and its status. Please keep copies needed for your own records. Our Privacy Notice explains how we store and retain notification copies and delivery records. The existing rules about order acceptance and payment verification continue to apply.

Accounts and site use

You must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You may not interfere with site security, probe or scrape restricted systems, submit false information, impersonate another person, commit fraud, introduce malicious code, or use the site in a way that violates law or another person's rights. KCC Labs may suspend access needed to protect the site, customers, service providers, or legal compliance.

Intellectual property

KCC Labs names, logos, photographs, page designs, product descriptions, and original site content are owned by KCC Labs LLC or used with permission. You may view and print reasonable copies for internal purchasing or research records. No other reproduction, republication, resale, or commercial use is authorized without written permission. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

Warranty and liability limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, products are supplied only to the lot specifications expressly stated at purchase and the website is provided on an “as available” basis. Implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement, are disclaimed where legally permitted. KCC Labs does not warrant that the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KCC Labs LLC and its members, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, or lost research time. Aggregate liability arising from an affected product will not exceed the amount paid for that product. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law and disputes

New Jersey law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules and without overriding mandatory rights in a purchaser's jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, the parties should make a good-faith effort to resolve it through written notice. Any final arbitration, class-action waiver, or exclusive-venue clause will be added only after attorney and payment-provider review; none is created by these Terms.

Changes, severability, and entire agreement

KCC Labs may update these Terms prospectively by posting a new effective date and version. Material changes will apply to future site use and orders unless law requires otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted. These Terms, the policies below, and the disclosures presented at checkout form the agreement governing an accepted order.

Research-use policy

Products are offered solely as laboratory research materials and are not offered as drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices. No product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate disease or to affect the structure or function of a human or animal body.

By requesting or placing an order, the purchaser represents and agrees that they:

• are at least 21 and authorized to act for the purchasing person or organization;
• are technically qualified to evaluate and handle the material for legitimate laboratory research;
• will independently assess hazards and use suitable facilities, training, engineering controls, protective equipment, storage, transport, and disposal methods;
• will not ingest, inhale, inject, apply, administer, compound, or otherwise use a material in or on a person or animal;
• will not relabel, resell, redistribute, advertise, or transfer a material for a prohibited or unverified purpose;
• will not make health, therapeutic, diagnostic, performance, or veterinary claims about a material; and
• will comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and destination laws and restrictions.

KCC Labs may request credentials or intended-use information, preserve acceptance records, restrict products or destinations, cancel suspicious or prohibited orders, terminate accounts, and cooperate with lawful requests. The purchaser assumes responsibility for any unlawful, unsafe, unauthorized, or unintended use after delivery.

Refund and return policy

A signed-in customer may request cancellation from the account portal before carrier handoff. Test and unpaid orders may cancel immediately. A request for a paid or processing order is not complete until KCC Labs confirms that fulfillment stopped and any applicable refund was issued to the original payment method. Orders already shipped cannot be cancelled through the portal. For eligible unfulfilled PayPal orders, the portal pauses fulfillment and submits one refund of the remaining captured payment to the original payment method. Cancellation and refund are confirmed only after PayPal confirms completion. Pending, uncertain or held payments, purchased shipping labels and manual payments require staff review. Repeated clicks do not create another refund.

Because chain of custody and material integrity cannot be verified after delivery, all sales are final except where nonwaivable law requires otherwise or an item qualifies under the Limited Damage and Specification Guarantee below. Do not return any item without written authorization from KCC Labs.

Eligible claims

• an incorrect or missing item;
• documented shipping damage reported within seven calendar days after delivery;
• a carrier-confirmed loss in transit; or
• an unopened product shown within 30 calendar days by an independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory to fall outside the identity or purity specification displayed for the purchased lot.

Email orders@kcclabs.net before testing, discarding, or returning anything. Include the order number, lot number, description of the issue, and clear photographs of the label, product, packaging, and shipping carton. Preserve all original materials while the claim is reviewed.

Specification claims

A specification claim requires an agreed, fit-for-purpose validated method; an unbroken, documented chain of custody; the complete laboratory report and underlying result; and reasonable access to retained or returned material. KCC Labs may arrange confirmatory testing before deciding the claim.

Remedies and exclusions

For an approved claim, KCC Labs may replace the affected item, issue store credit if the purchaser agrees, or refund the affected item and standard outbound shipping to the original payment method. Expedited shipping, independent testing costs, lost research time, consequential loss, change of mind, customer ordering errors, opened or altered material, broken seals, improper storage or handling, and post-delivery temperature exposure are not covered unless required by law.

Contact us before starting a chargeback so the order, carrier, and lot records can be reviewed. This request does not restrict any good-faith dispute right provided by law or a card issuer. Duplicate recovery, false evidence, or fraudulent disputes may result in account restriction and lawful collection activity.

Shipping policy

KCC Labs will ship only eligible products to approved domestic United States destinations. International shipping is not available. Restricted destinations, carriers, services, rates, and delivery estimates will be displayed at checkout when purchasing is enabled. Estimates begin after carrier acceptance and are not guarantees.

• Orders may require compliance, fraud, address, or credential review before fulfillment.
• The purchaser must provide a complete, accurate, and secure delivery address.
• An address change is possible only if received and accepted before carrier handoff.
• Tracking information will be sent to the order email when available.
• Weather, carrier disruptions, holidays, security reviews, and events outside our control may cause delay.

If a package is delayed, lost, damaged, refused, returned, or marked delivered but missing, contact orders@kcclabs.net promptly. KCC Labs may require the purchaser to preserve packaging, provide photographs, confirm the address, sign a statement, or cooperate with a carrier investigation. Reshipping costs caused by an incorrect address, refusal, or other purchaser error may be charged where permitted by law. Risk of loss and title transfer only as permitted by applicable law and final provider-approved terms.

Privacy notice

KCC Labs LLC is the business responsible for personal information described in this notice. This notice applies to kcclabs.net, customer and research-support communications, eligibility review, accounts, accepted orders, fulfillment, and order tracking.

Information we collect

During new account setup, we ask for your date of birth to check that you are at least 21. Your full date of birth is used for this check and is not saved in your account profile. We retain the eligibility confirmation and agreement record. A self-reported date does not replace any additional identity or eligibility review.

• identifiers and contact details, such as name, email, phone number, billing address, shipping address, and account identifier;
• order, transaction, shipment, return, claim, and lot-acceptance records;
• research organization, role, credentials, and intended-use information voluntarily submitted for review;
• communications and customer-support records; and
• device, browser, IP address, access time, page request, security event, referral, and similar operational log information.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the site; verify eligibility; evaluate, process, fulfill, and track orders; communicate transactional updates; provide support; maintain lot, consent, accounting, and tax records; detect fraud or prohibited use; handle disputes or recalls; enforce agreements; and comply with law. Promotional email will be sent only where legally permitted, and each message will provide an opt-out method.

Optional email updates and saved-cart reminders

The optional checkbox in the cart or checkout combines occasional catalog, documentation and availability emails with up to two reminders for the cart you explicitly save, after 1 hour and 24 hours. It starts unchecked for a new cart. Research agreements, account registration and order/security emails do not opt you in. We record the displayed choice, its version, the verified account and the saved cart. An existing promotional subscription or older reminder choice does not automatically enroll a new cart. Changes to your browser cart are not saved automatically. Explicit updates keep the saved cart's original reminder schedule.

Unchecking the combined choice stops promotional updates and the remaining reminders for that saved cart. Email unsubscribe links identify the preference they stop; an email already in transit may still arrive. Saved cart contents and email snapshots are removed after 30 days without changes by the daily cleanup, while minimal consent, suppression and delivery-safety records can remain to prevent unwanted or repeated reminders. This does not delete orders, payments or accounting records or reserve stock.

How information is disclosed

Information may be disclosed as reasonably necessary to service providers supporting hosting, databases, authentication, payment, transactional email, shipping and rate calculation, fraud prevention, security, analytics if activated, professional advice, and business continuity. It may also be disclosed to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, complete a merger or asset transaction subject to appropriate safeguards, or at your direction. KCC Labs does not sell personal information for money.

Payment-card numbers and security codes, if card payments are offered, will be collected and processed by the approved payment provider and not intentionally stored by KCC Labs. Offline payment records may include the selected provider, exact order amount, provider reference, verification status, verifier, and timestamps; they do not require a customer's bank login, PIN, password, or security code. Current site infrastructure may use Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication and database services, Shippo for shipping rates or labels, and Resend for transactional email. A provider is used only when its related feature is configured or enabled.

PayPal checkout and payment records

If you choose PayPal when it is available, we send PayPal the order reference, U.S. dollar total and price breakdown, and the delivery recipient's name and address. PayPal processes your funding details and security verification in its payment window. Its handling of personal information and any related cookies or storage is described in the PayPal Privacy Statement. Our optional analytics choice does not activate a PayPal payment or grant consent to unrelated marketing.

KCC Labs retains linked payment references, amounts, currency, recorded payment or refund outcomes, timestamps, and provider fee or net-amount evidence when available, to verify payments, maintain accounting and tax records, and handle fraud, refunds and disputes. These transaction records follow the separate legal and business retention rules below. The 30-day order-email cleanup does not delete payment or accounting records, and a documented dispute or legal hold must be preserved.

Additional order verification

When an order is flagged for fraud, identity, payment, or address review, KCC Labs may ask the signed-in purchaser for only the checks reasonably needed: the last four digits of the payment card, a government-issued photo ID, and/or recent proof of address. Never submit a full card number, expiration date, PIN, security code, Social Security number, medical record, or unrelated sensitive information. Documents must be submitted only through the secure account form and never by email.

Verification information is used to confirm identity, card possession, and address; prevent fraud; decide whether to accept, fulfill, reject, or cancel an order; handle disputes; and meet legal obligations. Files are decoded, stripped of metadata, re-encoded, and stored in a private, access-controlled Supabase bucket. Only authorized reviewers with recent multi-factor verification can retrieve a document through an audited, non-cached download. The customer's affirmative consent, requested checks, submission time, and review decision are recorded with the order. Consent does not guarantee order acceptance.

Daily cleanup is configured to delete verification images when an unanswered request expires, 90 days after submission if no decision has been made, or 90 days after a verification decision. An authorized reviewer may delete reviewed images sooner. Extra or abandoned uploads are eligible for cleanup once they are at least one day old and are no longer associated with an open, unexpired request or a retained submitted document. A failed browser submission does not immediately delete files, because the submission may have succeeded on the server. Cleanup failures and incomplete document batches require operational review. A documented legal hold may require a separate, access-controlled retention process before routine deletion. Less-sensitive order, consent, and decision records may remain with the transaction record.

Retention and security

We retain information only as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, transaction, recall, fraud-prevention, dispute, and enforcement requirements. Retention periods vary by record type and legal obligation. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to reduce risk, but no internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Order-email copies and delivery records

We use your email address and relevant order information to send order confirmations and updates. Our website keeps a protected copy of these messages and records whether the email service accepted, delivered or rejected them. Delivery to a mail server does not guarantee placement in your inbox.

When routine cleanup is enabled, we remove eligible saved copies and their linked delivery reports after 30 days without a new delivery-record update. Copies still being processed or investigated, or subject to a documented dispute or legal hold, are kept until the applicable protection can be released. Information needed as an original tax, insurance or other required business record is retained under the applicable record policy.

Restricted minimal records of notification identity, last recorded outcome, reviews and holds remain to prevent duplicate messages and preserve audit evidence. These records do not contain the saved message, recipient email address, shipping address or private order link, but can remain linked to the order. Unresolved delivery reports are retained for investigation. Our system keeps these limited records permanently to prevent duplicate notifications and preserve audit records.

Orders, payments, invoices, shipping and accounting records follow separate legal and business retention requirements. Routine notification cleanup does not remove copies in your own inbox. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@kcclabs.net; verified requests are handled subject to applicable legal obligations and documented retention exceptions.

Optional analytics and referral attribution

Privacy/storage update: October 4, 2026 · KCC-PRIVACY-2026-10-04.1. Visiting the site, accepting the research-use terms, or making a purchase does not give consent to optional tracking. The cookie controls offer separate choices for analytics and referral attribution, both off unless you opt in. The analytics choice covers our product-interest measurements and Vercel Web Analytics public-page measurements described below. We ask for a new choice when this consent version changes. Declining does not restrict normal storefront access.

With analytics consent, we record public-page visits, product views after five visible seconds, successful saves and cart additions, UTC date, selected English/Spanish language, and a coarse small/large-screen category. A random browser-tab identifier lasts up to 24 hours and is converted on the server to a keyed, daily-changing token to suppress duplicates. It is pseudonymous, not an assurance of anonymity. We do not link these metrics to customer accounts or record names, emails, payment details, precise location, search text, query strings, full referrers, form contents or session recordings. Account, admin, authentication, order-tracking and checkout pages are excluded. Aggregate scores help order and highlight compounds; they are not sales or scientific evidence.

Vercel hosts the website and Supabase stores our first-party product-interest metrics under restricted server/admin access. With analytics consent, Vercel Web Analytics also receives public-page paths, origin-only referrers, browser/device information and coarse regional location inferred from the request. Our integration removes query strings and fragments before pageviews are sent, excludes account, admin, authentication, cart, checkout and order-tracking pages, and does not send custom events or customer/order identifiers. Vercel describes its cookie-free visitor hash as expiring after 24 hours; that session duration is not the retention period for aggregate reports. Vercel report availability and retention depend on the configured service and plan, separately from the Supabase retention below. Network services necessarily receive IP addresses; our first-party analytics rate limiter uses keyed daily hashes rather than storing raw IP addresses in analytics tables. Hosting, authentication, fraud-prevention and security logs operate separately. No Google Analytics, advertising pixels or third-party session-replay service is activated by these controls. We do not sell these metrics or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To reduce manipulation of popularity rankings, consented product interest is also limited using a separate keyed token derived from the network address and changed daily. IPv6 addresses are grouped by their /64 network. The ranking counts at most one contribution per compound per network source each UTC day, across at most ten compounds. Shared networks can therefore be counted together; these are not counts of individual people. Raw network addresses are not stored in the ranking tables, and this does not create another browser identifier. Declining analytics does not increase an order's fraud risk score or restrict purchases.

Daily cleanup is configured to remove the ranking's pseudonymous source budgets and duplicate-vote records dated before yesterday, and ranking aggregates outside the most recent 30 UTC days. Recent interest receives more weight, and a minimum amount of evidence across multiple days is required before a live ranking is used. General website analytics totals have the separate retention period below.

Daily cleanup is configured to remove duplicate-suppression records dated before yesterday and aggregate metrics older than the most recent 365 UTC days. Optional referral attribution records only a partner code and capture time in your browser, and may attach that code to an order for partner credit. We do not load a partner tracking pixel. Order/referral accounting records may be retained separately under the transaction retention rules.

Where consent is the applicable legal basis, optional tracking relies on your choice. You can withdraw it below as easily as granting it. Withdrawal stops new optional collection and clears optional browser identifiers; it does not reverse prior lawful processing or erase totals that no longer identify your browser. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track by disabling both optional categories, even after an earlier acceptance. Essential requested features and security processing remain active.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy; to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; and to appeal a denied request. KCC Labs does not currently sell personal information or use the storefront for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will verify requests, respond within the legally required period, and will not unlawfully discriminate because a person exercised a privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, subject to verification.

Age and geographic scope

The site and services are not directed to anyone under 21, and KCC Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. Contact us if you believe such information was submitted. The storefront is operated in the United States for U.S. users and domestic shipping. Information may be processed in the United States and in other locations used by service providers, subject to applicable safeguards.

Privacy requests and updates

Submit a privacy request to privacy@kcclabs.net or the mailing address below. Describe the request and the state where you reside, but do not email passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identification, or sensitive laboratory data. This notice may be updated prospectively; material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when required, an additional notice.

KCC Labs SMS terms

Customer SMS messaging has not launched. We can record your choices, but no customer campaign texts will be sent until provider approval, phone verification, and opt-out handling are completed.

Optional subscriptions for adults 21 and older cover (1) orders, shipping, delivery, and account notifications, and (2) promotions, product announcements, and availability updates. Promotional consent is requested separately and is not a condition of purchase. Providing a phone number for an order, creating an account, or accepting general terms does not enroll you. Authentication codes requested through Twilio Verify are separate and do not grant marketing consent.

Message and data rates may apply. When messaging launches, reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You can withdraw consent now on this page or contact research@kcclabs.net. These choices do not enroll you in email marketing or change separately requested authentication codes.

Frequency varies with selected categories, orders, and account activity. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Notify us if you change or stop using your number. Do not send passwords, payment details, or medical information by SMS.

Cookies and browser storage

These controls apply to cookies and similar storage. Essential storage supports features you request. Optional analytics and referral storage are off before consent. Accept optional, Reject optional and individual Save choices are available without creating an account. Your research-use acknowledgment is separate from these choices.

Change your choices anytime using Cookie settings in the footer. Browser settings can also clear or block storage; blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in, cart and preference features. Consent applies to this browser, not every device. We ask again after 180 days, after clearing cookies, or when the consent version changes. Closing or ignoring the notice does not grant consent.
